CAPITOL STEEL AWARDED ISO 9001:2000
(Your Assurance of Quality)

The plant of Capitol Steel Corp was recently awarded a Certificate of Registration for ISO 9001:2000.

Our drive to improve our customer service is the primary reason why we worked towards this certification. Capitol Steel started the ISO certification drive early on but halfway through the ISO project, the guidelines for the Year 2000 Revision of the ISO 9000 series was released. The management and staff shifted to the new standard because they strongly believed that the Year 2000 revision’s increased focus on customer satisfaction, continuous improvement and management responsibility is more aligned to the management principles of Capitol Steel.

The certification ensures that we have the mechanism to improve quality and operational efficiency to deliver our product in the right specification, on time, and at the right price.

We firmly believe that the seal of quality assurance will help us meet the high level of service and quality assurance that our customers have come to expect from Capitol Steel.
